Camu Camu Powder

Camu Camu whole fruit powder is wild-harvested from the edge of the Brazilian and Peruvian rainforests. Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a native bush to the South American rainforest. This deep red-brown powder is a 100% pure low temperature dehydrated (raw) powder.

The quality of most dried Camu Camu berry powders are usually measured by determining the Vitamin C percentage by weight of the product. Some manufacturers freeze-dry the pulp and some use the whole berry.

This berry powder can typically be found in Vitamin C supplement capsules (e.g. Pure Radiance C, also available from The Synergy Company). 1/8 teaspoon equals about 500 milligrams of the powder. This means you can get 200 (1/8 teaspoon) servings per 100 gram bag.
